On a Mission to be Radically Great for the Outdoors
Maverick & Haywood started off just like their parents did - with an amazing view from a Kelty backpack. You can find us daily - romping around our Northern California playground. Here it is not uncommon to see a deer, rabbit, bobcat, bear, turkey, coyote, pheasant, snake, lizard, frog, eagle, hawk or friendly neighborhood dog cruising past. A "radically great" love of the outdoors was inevitable. Maverick & Haywood pondered at how to keep their favorite places clean?! Simple environmental responsibility was not enough. We believe an environmental consciousness is something we can truly facilitate as a company. We also believe that kids today need a backpocket full of people/projects/orgs to keep the momentum - amazing EcoMavericks really do all the work out there. We aim to act as a vehicle, creating positive waves of support. We donate $3 per M&H Tee to our favorite EcoMavericks. All the projects we support are working towards keeping our mountaintops, rivers, oceans and wild spaces clean. It is amazing to play in incredible, wild, open spaces - and we like to experience these in their raw, clean state. We operate a super green studio for a reason - the less impact we make - the greater the positive impact on our natural world. We use water based inks and organic, recycled Tees. We reduce, reuse and recycle everything at Maverick & Haywood. |
